Description
This etching was drawn on the back side of Telegraph Hill in San Francisco, California, coming down the Filbert Street steps where the artist lived and had a studio. Napier Lane was a tiny little side street a few houses long with wooden walkways and steps and a place where cats loved it and the gardens were beautiful.
