Description
This etching was drawn from flowers I arranged in a pottery container one summer while staying on a lake in Georgia. I drew and later engraved in the early morning on a screen porch that had wonderful light. The porch overlooked the lake. My composition has an open rose, a rosebud that is unfurling and a bud that is still tight. I found the alstroemeria interesting from the front, side and back, and arranged and drew it from those angles. And, although not in the title, there is also a lily bud in this summer composition.
